HTMUA Asset Management System Database Dictionary

Sanitary Sewer System - Network Features

The Sewer Network dataset contains the components of the wastewater or sewer collection system.  The components form a combined gravity and pressure-driven network, whose features are modeled as either lines or nodes.  The linear components are comprised primarily of mains (force or gravity) and laterals, while the nodal components include pumping stations or manholes.  The layer contains descriptive information about each of the features and supports various maintenance and modeling operations.

This dataset represents all sewer system mains, polygons and services. Sewer mains are broken (and points present) at the following appurtenance types:

The following appurtenance types do not break the associated sewer mains and are represented w.r.t. the symbol assigned to it:

Corrosion Test Station

Item Definitions

Common Items:

ObjectID

Unique, non-null identifier for each pipe or service. This field is populated by default in the system, whenever the features are Deleted/Added.

FacilityID

Unique, non-null identifier for each pipe or service. The GIS facility ID will be unique for each arc in any feature class. The GIS facility ID is comprised of a four-digit grid number "3612" and a three-digit number. (e.g., "3612100"). Please see the FacilityID Numbering scheme for more details on each Feature Class

NewGridNo

New Grid Number with reference to the features falling in a particular Grid Boundary Drafted afresh.

OldGridNo

Old Grid Number with reference to the features falling in a particular Grid Boundary sent by Client.

Subtype

Facility type code in integer form.
